Syntax Of Lodash flatMapDepth method
_.flatMapDepth(collection, [iteratee=_.identity], [depth=1])
This Lodash flatMapDepth method is like _.flatMap except that it recursively flattens the mapped results up to depth times.
Arguments
- collection (Array|Object) − The collection to iterate over.
- [iteratee=_.identity] (Function) − The function invoked per iteration.
- [depth=1] (number) − The maximum recursion depth.
Output
- (Array) − Returns the new flattened array.
Example
var _ = require('lodash'); var list = [1 , 2, 3, 4, 5]; var result = _.flatMapDepth(list, function(n) { return [[[n, n]]]; },2); console.log(result);
Save the above program in tester.js. Run the following command to execute this program.
Command
\>node tester.js
Output
[ [ 1, 1 ], [ 2, 2 ], [ 3, 3 ], [ 4, 4 ], [ 5, 5 ] ]
