Syntax Of Lodash – compact method

_.compact(array)

Lodash compact method Creates an array with all false values removed. The values false, null, 0, “”, undefined, and NaN are falsy.

Arguments

• array (Array) − The array to compact.

Output

• (Array) − Returns the new array of filtered values.

Example

var _ = require('lodash');
var numbers = [1, false, 3, 0];
var listOfNumbers = '';
listOfNumbers = _.compact(numbers);
console.log(listOfNumbers);

Save the above program in tester.js. Run the following command to execute this program.

Command

\>node tester.js

Output

[ 1, 3 ]
