Google Charts – Map Customizing markers

Following is an example of a map using customized markers. We’ve already seen the configuration used to draw this chart in the Google Charts Configuration Syntax chapter. So, let’s see the complete example.

Configurations

We’ve used icons configuration to customized markers.

// Set chart options
var options = {
   showTip: true,
   icons: {
      default: {
         normal: 'http://icons.iconarchive.com/icons/icons-land/vista-map-markers/48/Map-Marker-Ball-Azure-icon.png',
         selected: 'http://icons.iconarchive.com/icons/icons-land/vista-map-markers/48/Map-Marker-Ball-Right-Azure-icon.png'
      }
   }
};
